about bloom birth & family

bloom is founded and operated by Naomi Walker (she/her) with the goal of guiding people on their perinatal journey. We have aspirations of growing a team, creating educational courses, and opening a birth center.

Naomi has been supporting families for 10 years. She is a full spectrum doula, newborn care specialist and student midwife that is passionate about continued education. As a black woman, she is passionate about lowering black maternal death rates, providing care that is accessible and making sure their clients have the information to be able to advocate for themselves on their journey. Her philosophies are community centered, and gentle. Family collaboration and ease of transition is our first priority. Whether you are adding to your family via pregnancy, surrogacy or adoption we have resources to help all involved. If you are experiencing loss, or newly pregnant and needing support while you consider your options: we are here for you.
